Motorbike rental is quite close to car rental details. The logic and general rules I wrote in the vehicle are actually the same, and I will not repeat what I wrote above for this reason and because motorbike rental abroad is quite rare.
If you have come across this article first and want to take a look at our experiences and information about car hire abroad, you can click on the link below.
In general, I can say that all payments such as card blocking etc. that you need to pay for a motorbike are much more costly than a car. Because your accident rate on a motorbike is always statistically higher. In addition, since the mile / km life on the motorbike is quite low compared to cars, the daily mile / km limits are quite limited compared to the car.
Nevertheless, despite all the restrictions and negativities, it is an excellent privilege to ride a motorbike sometimes on a sea or lake shore and sometimes on quiet routes surrounded by lush green trees. Of course, you need to fulfil some conditions to experience this privilege:
Greece, Grebene
• The first rule is to have a minimum A2 level driving licence and a minimum of 2 years. Different conditions may be required according to the companies. Sometimes only an international driving licence is required in addition to your motorbike licence. We have encountered this situation only in Greece, but we do not know the situation for other countries as we have no motorbike rental experience outside Europe and the Balkans. Anyway, in our opinion, we definitely do not recommend renting a motorbike in Africa and Middle East countries. The chances of being killed or maimed are quite high.
• Motorbike rental fees are usually determined by classifying according to engine volume (cc). In addition to renting, all agencies receive a deposit in advance according to the class of the motorbike. This deposit is actually determined according to the amount of motorbike insurance. If something happens to the motorbike, they get their money from the insurance, but they also get the cost of the insurance from you. Some agencies block the deposit amount from the credit card as a pre-provision. Some of them keep it directly by drawing a slip by hand. When you bring the motorbike back intact, they return the deposit amount.

• Some countries or agencies may impose certain conditions on the age of the driving licence or your age according to the motorcycle classes. Make sure to contact the agency and confirm the conditions before renting.
You can list the agencies in many countries by using to ret a motorbike:
Here are some of the agencies where you can rent a motorbike in many countries;
Serbia, Belgrade
• In general, you have two options when renting a motorbike. The first is kilometre limited on a daily basis and the other is the unlimited kilometre option. If you do not plan to travel too much, the daily 125mile (or 200km) limited options will come at much more affordable prices. If you exceed the 125 mile (or 200km) limit, they charge extra per distance travelled. If you are renting with a tariff with a daily kilometre limit, find out the amounts you will pay in excess of the limit. You may have to pay astronomical amounts afterwards.
• While most of the agencies require you to deliver the motorbike to the place where you bought it, some of them allow you to deliver it from different places. For example, you can rent your motorbike in Milan and deliver it there after travelling to Rome. Of course, they charge extra money for this service and it cannot be said that it is very cheap. As I said, all transactions cost more than renting a car, but it is definitely worth it.
• Depending on the models, you can rent rear bags or side bags with the motorbikes. In addition, most of them have GPSs with maps and motorbikes that you can rent on a daily basis.
• I am in favour of taking your own clothes, but you can also rent helmets, coats, gloves and boots from the agencies at very reasonable prices. If you are thinking of taking your own clothes, you can get on the plane very easily with your coat and helmet. Never give your helmet to the luggage. Take it in the cabin and keep it in your backpack. All items such as helmets, boots, jackets, gloves take up a maximum of one backpack.
